Skiing can be enjoyed in many ways. Many of us ski differently. Some enjoy Alpine, Snowboarding, Telemark and other specialized ski equipment includung disable and other type skiers. Some like speed, back country, powder, groomed, and tricks. Regardless of your preference it is our goal for all skiers to have a safe and enjoyable time. Regardless of your preference and how you choose to enjoy the slopes, always be courties to other skiers around you. Be aware of your surrounding, use your common sense and keep in mind that there are always risk in skiing. Remembering your safety tips will always increase your safety and the safety of others around you.
Always stay in control, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objectss.
People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible from above.
Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others
Always use devices to prevent runaway equipment.
Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
